The Role

We are looking for someone with a real passion for Mathematics, who has the ability to bring the subject to life for students, and would relish the opportunity to develop an innovative curriculum that challenges and inspires our students. 

 

 

About the role:

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Deputy Curriculum Leader of Maths to join our team at Carleton High School. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career to gain experience as a middle leader. As the Deputy Curriculum Leader, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the life chances of young people in the community, by supporting the Curriculum Leader to lead and inspire a team of dedicated Maths teachers. 


The successful candidates will: 

  • Support the work of the Curriculum Leader to strategically lead the direction and development of the curriculum area in accordance with the aims and objectives of the school; 
  • Support the work of the Curriculum Leader to raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the curriculum area by: 
  • ensuring the provision of an appropriately relevant and differentiated curriculum for all students; 
  • developing and enhancing the teaching practice of others. 
  • To support the work of the Curriculum Leader to effectively evaluate the impact of and strategically plan for improvement by managing and deploying all financial and physical resources within the area.
