About the role  

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Senior Administrative Assistant at The King’s School. This candidate will work effectively, as part of a team, to provide an efficient and professional administration service. They will be the champion for issues related to the administration of recruitment, individual health care plans for students with medical needs, facilitating immunisation programmes, arranging Parent/Carer events and supporting the transition process for students moving from the primary to secondary sector.  


We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who: 

  • Has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and students. 
  • Will make a difference in changing children’s life chances. 
  • Has the skills and abilities to support children of all abilities and personal needs. 
  • Can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative. 
  • Has the ability to form effective relationships with students and parents/carers. 


This is a 37 hours per week, term time plus ten days, permanent contract, equating to 200 working days per annum. Working hours will be 08.00 – 16.00 Monday to Thursday and 08.00 – 15.30 Fridays.
