About Pontefract Academies Trust 

Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi-Academy Trust comprising of nine schools: seven primaries and two 11-16 secondary schools. Our mission is running high quality, high achieving schools that give our children and young people the chance in life they deserve.   

Renowned for our commitment to excellence, the Trust has achieved remarkable success, with five of our primary schools ranking within the top 1% nationally for progress.  

Additionally, our secondary schools feature among the top three secondary schools in the Wakefield district and top 7% nationally for progress. 

About the role 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and inspirational Maths teacher to join our dedicated team. We are looking for someone with a 'can-do' attitude and a passion for doing whatever it takes to ensure our students receive the best possible education. Beyond that, we are looking for an individual who demonstrates the potential to excel in their role. 

This opportunity is equally exciting for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced teacher, providing the chance to become a valued member of a talented and supportive team of Maths teachers. 

You will be integral to driving our Maths curriculum forward and delivering on our vision of providing a first-class education to all students, so that they make outstanding progress and get the chances in life they deserve.
