Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising of eight schools, six primaries and two 11 - 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Pupils are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas. 

 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join Orchard Head Junior, Infant and Nursery School. The candidate will be responsible for complementing the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities, which may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals or groups.

 

This is a permanent, 32.5 hours per week, term time plus five days contract equating to 195 working days per year.

 

Grade 6, SCP 12 – 17 unqualified (£22,571 - £24,920 per annum reduced to £17,186.00 - £18,974.58 per annum due to term time plus and part time hours)

Grade 7, SCP 18 – 23 qualified (£25,419 - £28,226 per annum, reduced to £19,354.53 - £21,491.83 per annum due to term time plus and part time hours)
