Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising of eight schools, six primaries and two 11 - 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Students are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.


We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed Finance Purchase Ledger Clerk, at Pontefract Academies Trust, The Barracks Business Centre. This candidate will undertake financial processing as required and assist in the provision of financial management information. They will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements to the purchase ledger and liaising with suppliers to resolve any queries regarding outstanding payments.


This post is a permanent, 22.5 hours, 3 days per week, all year round. The working days are Monday - Wednesday 08:00 to 16:00.

Qualification Title Grade
5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent Grade C/4 or higher
